I’m fixing up an Azodin Kaos Pump either first for second Gen. I was getting + or - 50 FPS over the chrono. I’m assuming is isn’t normal. Any tips? Currently rebuilding the reg and just did the main body.

Bore size comes to mind. My kp3 ( sheridan) was doing the same thing. I figured it was severly under bored paint.
But if thats not it, the reg may be an issue.
whats your tank output could it be starving for air, and just sprung to compensate? -
Tank is a usually 13/3000 so running at 750 to 850 I would think. Barrel bore may have been the issue. Was using a stock proto barrel so paint was rolling out constantly. I’ve rebuilt the whole thing and by fluke have an Azodin Barrel with the oring detent and put on it. I’ll give it another spin on the chrono and see if it helps.Comment

Barrel bore and is one and azodin regs aren't the greatest anyway.

Barrel definitely helped. Now fairly steady over the chrono. Stock barrel was good and the bored match MacDev barrel better. Thanks for the help! It’ll be off to a new owner tonight so wanted to make sure it was 100 percent.Comment
