What is a stock Bob Long Protege worth?

What would be a reasonable price for a Bob Long Protege in working condition? A friend of mine is looking for one, and I am toying with the thought of buying one right under his nose, so that I can give it to him later.

Same here, but I seem to remember the 'new' Proteges had some issues just to warn you.

This is how I got my kp3. I was bidding it on ebay like a month before Christmas. My best friend kept telling me not to spend money before Christmas. I didnt care I wanted a kp.

Once the bid went over 280, I was broke and crushed that I lost such a clean KP.

Turns out my buddy was purposly outbidding me so I wouldnt spend money before Christmas.

I dunno what he took it to, but he gifted me that KP for Christmas.

Ill never forget that. im sure your buddy wouldnt either.
