Also, it's the granddaddy to the Pro Flex , has the flexible rubber lowers, and takes the JT Elite lens.

JT X-Fire ("Crossfire"), as others have said. I still have a couple of them in a storage tote. All black wasn't exactly rare, but it was a little uncommon. The vast majority of X-Fires had OD green rigid uppers with black rubber lowers. Meleager7 is correct, the technology developed to securely attach the silicone rubber bottoms to the rigid plastic uppers would later be used to create the Proflex. The X-fire predates the Spectra lens, so it uses the narrower Elite lens. The problem with it is the height; it's so damned tall. I wore one when I was about 14/15 and it was pretty big on me (I'm 6'). If I tried to look over my shoulder the bottom of the mask would catch on my collarbone before I could turn my head all the way. I switched to the JT Softstream for a while before eventually upgrading to the Spectra mask (now called the Proshield).
You can still get replacement Elite lenses that will fit the goggle frame and generic straps will work (thanks to JT's love of modularity and backwards compatibility). Looks like yours still has the soft foam blocks glued in place behind the ears. That's great because those make it much more comfortable and prevent the edges of the ear boxes from digging in. It's a good beginner/loaner mask for someone who has a reasonably tall head/long face. Provides excellent protection but with good breatheability. I saw a guy wearing one at my local field just a couple of weeks ago.
The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.
