Left is AC threads , right is Spyder threads, two in the middle are the ones in question. They have the thickness and set up of a AC thread but the thread turn is like that of a Spyder. I tried to put these on my ICD 2000 and would not fit either. Any ideas?

Almost certainly 'shoebox' and SFT-era Shocker.

Doc.
Didn't V Sports come out in '98? I seem to remember seeing one the first time I went to an actual field, which would have been in '99.
While we're on the topic- and I don't care if this is a thread hijack 😁- if anyone has a Shocker Sport LS board in working order, lemme know!“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” -Krishnamurti

Appreciated on the board. As long as it's an LS board. I have a baker's dozen DS boards in the box.
I'd probably hate the Stiffi barrel, then. I like the extra bit of aluminum out there that a 16" or 14" barrel gives me.
Do you mean 5/16"/8mm macro? If so, yes, and both can be had from McMaster Carr. I've refitted all but two of my Shockers with 8mm macro because I'm a lunatic. Actually, the 2001 Shocker I didn't manage to sell in the second round of sell-offs came with 8mm macro, and it had better consistency over the chrono than my 1/4"-equipped Shockers, so, as an unhinged person, I decided to standardize on 8mm because I have nothing else to do. Whether the extra tube volume of the 8mm has anything to do with anything, I don't know and I don't care.

I have eleven or so of the various iterations of the manifold Max Flos, but I've never messed with a tank-mounted reg before. Should be as solid an bomb-proof as any other Max Flo, though. I am learning about Smart Parts' various feedneck threads, as we speak. I have already bought one feedneck that didn't fit... who knew that there were two separate ION threads? Huh. According to ZDSPB, it's 13/16-32 and a 7/8-32.If you need to talk, I will listen. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get it.
