    Spyder EM1 Battery door options

I recently got an EM1 and surprise! It has no battery door. Finding an original is next to impossible but I saw some posts about 3D printed ones. Anyone have or know where I could get those files? And if anyone can print one I would be interested in making an offer.

Talk to rainmaker, he recently did a barrel case for me that turned out amazing. Designed it and everything and was very fair with the pricing

The last one I had used a piece of sheet metal bent very nicely and painted black. Worked good and looked good too. The stock battery door isn't anything special.

i had one with a metal battery door. dont know the history of the EM1's but i always assumed it was a plastic door. i would always see them with tape holding the battery in. lol
the one i had, and kept, was a JAVA EM1. it has a metal door that is way too time to me a non-doc home brew creation.

You could definitely make one with some thin metal, fairly simple design with a couple of screw holes. Tape works too. The one on mine is metal.

I&I sports had a bunch awhile ago. I bought the raven primal plastic snap in door and it works great.

3D printed I am guessing? I’d be interested in a picture.

Do you know if it fits fine? I can see the right corner has a bit of damage. Message me a price.

The raven one works on the EM1 or just on the raven?

that corner actually has a screw that holds it up. i THINK its one of the trigger frame screws. it mounts from the bottom up.

Mine is a snap-in, like the original 1st gen Emmie.

I've been shot head on into the edge of the door and it held on just fine.

Hey that looks pretty great. I ended up buying an old original from someone on here but if I ever need another one or know of someone who does I’m going to send them in your direction. How much do you charge for the cover and shipping?
