$1500, feb 29, 2020, when i tried to buy it. sent a screen shot to the seller of the post and seller. It had shocktech pneumatics and a dye ti back with matching tip.
Yes that is why I highly recommend putting a gun like this on ebay in regular auction format with good ending time. Fees are well worth it.
at this point there is no good appraisal for those guns because most of them sell to a semi-back door best offer to someone who is going to park it in the garage for a very long time. They are truly auction worthy now, there aren't enough transactions to establish a "going price" IMO.
Frankly if someone is selling a cocker at a price that you (superman) are willing to pay, it is almost certainly under priced. The same applies to me. But when someone makes an appraisal thread on MCB I'm going to tell them how much money they can get and give them an honest shot at getting what their gear is worth.
I can say that it is an instant sell at 1200 (I'd buy), a virtually instant sell at 1500 (superman would buy). So what is it worth? Definitely more than 1500, thats all I can say for sure.
Superman did you say you saw this exact same gun for sale in Feb 29 2020? Or a different revenge.
because this example is a very original gun with the original barrel in decent not messed with condition, in a color that I think is particularly pleasing so I think all these things add up to "ebay"
My guess is that it would sell for 1900 dollars on ebay. But I sold a pokemon emerald game boy advance BOX (no game) for 600 dollars on ebay so you never know what kinda people are going to see something like this on ebay and pay whatever it is worth.
Sorry long post here, I'm having fun. Revenge v2's and any merlin that was assembled complete before 2005 are way up there on my list of guns I like.
I actually tried to stay out of the thread because i am interested. I made an offer i thought was fair considering it has been sitting for 10 years and knowing i would be doing a full rebuild. Maybe i am low and i told the seller i was willing to adjust that. I know the ram will likely need to be replaced and the 3way and lpr will eventually flake like all chrome does. maybe that is just preference, but after you threw out a 3k number i went back and looked at the revenges i have actually asked about that were for sale. Not appraisals but listed sales. That does not mean they were not sold for less.
revenge 2, shocktech pneus, ti back matching tip, purple to blue fade with silver splash
Feb 29, 2020, sold for 1500
Feb 05, 2021, asking 1500 plus fees and shipping
To be clear that is the same marker.
revenge 2, aka lpr, shocktech bomb 1, evo ram with qevs, no matching tip, Marker color yellow
Aug 3, 2020 current offer was 1550
The prices were not listed publicly but i do have screenshots of all of the markers (exception being the camo one, wasn't able to find that in a quick search) and pricing to back up this post id be happy to send to the OP to support my efforts in picking this beast up.
Edit:
Followed up by:
Pool bottom, sight rail damage, stock pneus
June 1, 2020 appraised (for 12-1300 by someone how said yours is now worth 2200-2400) and 1500 by previous owner of the camo revenge. someone offered 1100.
Edit, Edit:
Round body inline $2100, not sure on time but at least a year. shoctech ram, aka lpr, belsales 3 way. fresh splash fade ano with inception barrel kit.
My appraisals werenβt meant to make it hard for you to buy this gun so my apologies there.
The relatively minor cost of getting it in tip top shape is part of the appraisal.
Worst case scenario the ram is garbage (40 to replace) and you need o rings for the 3 way and the lpr and the rhpr. Thatβs like 60 dollars. Chance of needing a cup seal is pretty low.

but yeah I didnβt mean to be making it hard for you personally to get a good price or whatever.
I understand, I was just trying to throw some real numbers at it. Especially since he had several people saying elsewhere 2200+. I don't think that is realistic and i do want to purchase the marker, rebuild it and shoot it. I think if it was a round body, v3 or even a v2le he would be looking at more.
There is only one v3 (that's the v2 with side mounted ram)
As far as round body goes I kind of agree, the revenge v2le round body guns in their various versions (the partial and complete roundness) were always desirable to me also and were the only ones I was really interested in. Now that the new production merlin by AKALMP were round bodies with the revenge style trigger frame, and the new ones produced on merlin blanks by third party guys on face book were also round bodies, I think these regular V2's are going to come close to the value of the rounded guns, since you've got jackals, inception, and the new batch of merlins all looking tubular and only the V2 revenges looking square with flair.
I am the original owner of this Revenge V2, purchased to order from Splat Attack back in 2001. It has all the original parts and I have never offered it for sale in the past. I posted pics in a number of places asking for appraisals and there are a lot more people that wanted to send me offers via DM rather than post publicly what they thought it might be worth. Someone on Reddit offered me $600... and I have received multiple $2,000 - $2,500 offers on Facebook so take that for what you will.
For anyone that is curious or wants to add data points for future appraisals I sold the Phantom for $175 shipped, I sold the Blazer for $365 shipped, and I sold the Revenge V2 for $3200 cash to a local buyer.
