IR works fine for me. Plenty light, and the BK speed feed (whatever it's called) is fantastic. I don't think the extra "features" on the "higher end" Spires are worth the cost. It turns on, it feeds, it comes apart without tools. Simple.

Nothing wrong with the LTR though. My OG Rotor is my backup, or for when I feel like shooting stupid fast at the renegade field.

I have a 3, my understanding is the differences are pretty minor between it and the 4 so I guess it would come down to how much you value the differences.

I went with a 3 (4 wasn't out) over the standard spire or ir for a few reasons, the capacity was one of the biggest ones. I wanted more than the standard 180 spire but felt the 260 lid on the standard was too much (played with it). I really liked the reload lights on the 3 and the programming options

I bought the IR 2 when it came out, very pleased with it.

I had a spire 3 back when I used such things. It was a great hopper, but I feel like almost all upper level hoppers are great these days.

I wouldn't say it's delicate. Not my IR. I've slammed it around quite a bit. But it definitely doesn't feel as robust as my Rotor, for sure.

I am strictly talking about the spire hoppers you look at them wrong lately they break so many people locally have had tons of issues with them.

            ???

I've taken some nasty falls with my rotor. If it was delicate it seems to me that it would have, you know, broken.

The only thing I've ever replaced on it was the board which just wore out after 10+ years
