The red Benchmark item is a barrel plug that would fit inside a foregrip made by Benchmark.

The original block was a poor design anyway, with a separate cocking lug on the thinnest part of the block.

A modern make using the more reliable Intimidator/Impulse/Ego/Etc. top-down pin would be a much better choice. Have a block, delrin bolt, pin and hammer made like that, find some reputable anno shop to try and match the pattern, throw some good pneus on there and hit the field. Fun little project.

I think a nice compromise would be a gloss black backblock or sled, and matching gloss black pneus, hpr, and slider frame

sure, hold out for someday finding the color matched part, but at least you'd have a beautiful gun that could be played with!
