On/Off leak. What now?

I think the debate about on/offs has cursed me. I've never had this issue with one before.

Last week, in order to remove some loctite'd connections, I applied a substantial amount of heat to the on/off pictured here:



Now it is pissing air out of the purge port. I do not know how to find the source of the leak. I do not know the make of this on/off. Has anyone dealt with one before?

I can get some closer photos this afternoon.

You nuked the o rings in there for sure. Typically the pin comes out through the back of most on/offs so I would start the with some pliers

Yeah it is just an oring swap.
It will take you a couple minutes.

If that is the ASA I think it is you can take the knob off the front and then push the core out.

Good call. I didn't realize how it came apart, but got it now.
