Who makes a good indestuctable 45 hopper elbow.

My 20 year old APP one finally died due to user stupidity. 30 degrees and tapping it onto the gun turned out to not be as good a idea as it seemed moments before.

Best non adjustable are APP and WDP. Best adjustable are Viewloader, PTP or Sconi.

Only thing you have to be careful of is the indestructible ones break at the feedneck instead of the much cheaper and easy to replace elbow. I like the PTP ones. The aluminum ones are great for making stick feeds tho.

Yep I have a pile of them, I like to cut them and use hose clamps. Last forever until they get lost. Cheap and easily replaced.

I was recommended the PTP's just recently, and picked up a couple.

I also grabbed a smoke JT one from ANS gear when placing an order, that one looks pretty nice too, but haven't used it yet to claim anything about durability.

crap that would be far worse then breaking a elbow.

Yeah I would much rather replace an elbow then rip an old stove pipe out of a nice rare body. The elbows are cheap enough to buy a few and throw them in the tool box JIC.

Yup you have convinced me, I would rather keep breaking cheap elbows then my first automag

bro you aren't going to break your welded stainless steel automag feedneck and if so those bodies cost like 15 dollars. Those things take heavy hammer smashes to break off when modifying them.

There is a ton of leverage on those plastic elbow and they should almost always rotate before breaking anything. Just don't make the hopper too tight and you'll be fine.

But seriously you aren't gunna break your mag feedneck.

I like the Armson/PTP nylon elbows. They flex instead of cracking if overtightened and are lower profile than most of the polycarbonate/acrylic ones out there.

The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.

I'm not a fan of my PTP elbows - they flex too much with a Rotor and don't grip the feedneck very well. But - they're cheap and don't crack/break like the other cheap elbows on the market.

My VLbow has been with me for close to 2 decades and still going strong, though...
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."
