    Flexible Macro?

Anyone know where to get the more flexy macro? I have some hose that is pretty stiff, just can't remember where I found the softer stuff in the past.

Didn't maggot sell flexible macro at one point?

Negative. That soft stuff you guys are looking for isn't rated for paintball pressures. I only sell the stuff you should be using.

EDIT: maggot and DocsMachine are correct. After review, the product I recommended is rated for a working pressure of 500 psi max.

-This. The nature of the beast is that the stuff that's actually rated for our use, is going to be stiff. Softer, more flexible stuff will not be rated for our pressures, and will blow out- maybe not right away, but it will.

Why do you need it to be more flexible? Maybe there is a different option/solution depending on what youโ€™re looking to do

If you need to make tighter bends this is what a dish of hot water is for; you dry fit; figure out where you need a tighter bend, dip it in the water to soften it up (takes 30 sec or so), make your bend then hold until it cools off. If in bending it kinks that is too a tight of a bend. For most poly tube like Macro your minimum bend radius is 2x diameter to make a bend without affecting integrity but this will be dependent upon that specific manufacturer of the tube.

๐Ÿ‘†. This is exactly why I asked. Itโ€™s how I get โ€œright bends on my macro line. I use a wooden dowel and zip-ties to hold it at the radius I want.

Unless I'm mistaken, all macro fittings are not rated for the pressures we put through them either though.

It's true. Luckily the only reason the fittings aren't rated higher is that Norgren purposely designed a failure point at the collar - a failing fitting is actually just the leafs of the collar disconnecting and the hose popping out of the fitting. Kind of the same principal as a burst disk on a tank.

Had that exact failure happen with a macro fitting on my Hurricane... not fun. 2/10, would not recommend.

-Entirely true, nor were they intended to be "quick disconnects" as so many of us use them as. They're intended for rapid assembly, and if necessary, a quick replacement of a hose if it gets damaged. But not a QD where you pop the reg off twice a day for cleaning.

You need to clean your marker twice a day? What the hell is in that Alaskan air?
