    DYE Hinge on a pump

So I’ve owned buzzards with the dye 1.5 trigger frames but never took one apart because well, it worked . Recent purchase brought one on a WGP Ranger, for the life of me i can not figure out the orientation of springs and sear plate. I know how these work with a cocker sear plate , but what’s pictured has me stumped . Any help appreciated .

When I get a minute ill pull my double off and see what the sear looks like in it.

      Did it come disassembled?

no it was all together on the marker but trigger did not feel right. hence the taking apart to clean and " fix" . i noticed the smaller spring floating by the trigger .

I would guess the smaller spring just sits against the body with it installed. Typically on cocker frames the trigger and sear have separate springs.

Not typical in the case of dye swings

So I dunno how different the single is from the double, but my double has a stock looking sear. Doesn't look anything like that one. Also looks like if there's a spring on the trigger itself, its tucked between the trigger and frame.

Can i ask what marker your frame is on? I know a cocker sear plate works with these and functions as such, but that system doesn’t work on a Nelson based pump where the sear /trigger plate needs to slide or rise to trip the sear catch on hammer .

My frame came straight from a cocker. Didn't even think about the fact the hammer goes the opposite direction.
