I have a 48/3000 aluminum tank. Mines branded Tippman but I think they are pretty much the same. HK Army, Valken etc. Anyway tank threads are buggered and I need a replacement bonnet. Any suggestions? I think the aluminum on these is crap. Unscrewing the tank under pressure even while firing does a number on these crap threads. This one is buggered at the tank end , not the tip so will not thread easily all the way into an ASA. Starts great and hangs 80% of the way in. Valken makes a nickel plated one that looks like it fits. Anyway where’s the best place to get a replacement or 4? Any advice helpful.

I took a nickeled bonnet off of an old PMI tank reg and used it on my Tippmann tank... so I imagine virtually any one will work assuming the guts are compatible. -
I have a used one I can send you from a ninja 48/3k.
Whatever amount you think is appropriate.Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!

Brass is the best material for bonnets for use in standard ASAs, though nickel-plated works fine as well. Aluminum bonnets should really only be used in on/off ASAs.Comment
