    Timmy Question...

    Hello All,

    Been a long time since i have posted here. Being I don't trust PBN too much I figured here would be a safe place to ask if anybody here works on Timmys, or knows someone that does. I have an 07 Infamous that's not shooting and i don't know why. If this is in the wrong section please delete it and let me know where I should be...

    Hi, you may want to start by stating what you know or have done. The last Timmy I owned was an Alias so I’m not able to help you much.

    Have you…
    swapped a new battery?
    backed out your high pressure regulator?
    changed your board settings back to factory settings?

    Is the solenoid clicking?

    Are you running a stock board? Stock high pressure regulator? Low pressure regulator?

    I hope you get it figured out. Timmies are supposed to be pretty straightforward to troubleshoot.

      Ya need more info. Using a full tank, fresh battery? What happens when you go to shoot it?

        I was actually the airsmith for all bob long legacy products for a while. Yeah what's it doing?

        Pull the trigger and what happens?

          OK so i went back and tinkered a little to see if I could figure it out? I have a fresh battery and a CP reg on it. So I never messed with the factory setting as the gun shot just fine when I got it and it still has the stock board. I happen to have some air and did a couple of test shots without paintballs. When powered i can hear the noid clicking. The side air gauge was reading 100psi when I aired it up. Everything sounded and acted like it should. But before when i had paint it would only drop the ball 20-30 feet in front of me? I will need to get some paint to see if cleaning it again fixed my probem.

          If not, what would make such a drop in velocity that the balls would only roll out of the barrel?

            I’d check your HPR pressure and dwell settings. Set regs using the lurker method.

              Yeah it sounds like your hpr is just too low. There's a small screw in the side of the cp regulators, towards the bottom. Turn it counter clockwise and that will increase pressure
