    Modern Paintball Pants With...Cargo Pockets?

I know I have seen older JT pants with cargos, but I am curious what might be out there.

I miss the old JT Canvas pants with cargo pouches, That is why I use Duluth Flex Fire Hose Relaxed Fit Cargo Work Pants. The are super tough I've had the same pair for over 10 years and still looks close to new. I use them exclusively for paintball.

I have not found "paintball" pants I like, I really want something like the old JT Canvas pants but those are long out of production.

I like BDU or a nice pair of “Tactical pants” like 5.11.

I to prefer cargo pockets I use them for dump pouches. My favorite are Smokin Products and the old denim JT single pocket pants. But both are hard to find.

5.11 are my go to when I can’t find the ones I prefer that are no longer made. BDU if you want camo options and a lower cost. BDU I blow the knees out on every 4 or so years from sliding. 5.11 hold up well haven’t wore a pair out. I’m going to try the Duluth Flex Fire Hose next time I need a pair. They seem perfect.

Yeaaah, I do have a couple pairs of BDUs. I am finding more and more that I don't like wearing packs around my waist so when playing pump cargo pockets are perfect to hold a 50 round pound in each, or even a 100 rounder. Would just like something built better/fit better.

There's a 5.11 store not far, I may have to go try some stuff on soon.

If you do a regular amount of play on your knees or you do any sliding, I do not recommend the 5.11 Ripstop pants if that’s where you find yourself leaning. Went through two pairs in two years. Not bad pants at all, but definitely not for getting down and dirty with paintball.

I didn’t get the rip stop those are thin. The ones I got are thick denim material I got them a Gander Mtn when they went out of business for the 3rd time in my area. I would look at those Duluth ones. That fire hose material is built tough.

Skip the 5.11 taclites. I used to wear them when I worked in EMS. Great lightweight duty pants, but as Chuck and Menso say, they are too thin for heavy wear on the knees. I wore them to the field a couple times but quickly switched to some heavier weight hiking pants.

I have a couple pair of these. Cheap and functional. I had my mom sew the squegee slot for the cargo pocket into and actual squeegee pocket and had her reinforce (repair) the crotch a couple times. I keep splitting it.
