PSA: Cocker cup seals can explode?

In all my years I have not seen such a failure, but here we are. Tuning a Sniper build apparently my stock WGP cup seal exploded like a cermic plate dropped on a stone floor . Just a highly irregular failure to behold, you've been warned

The plastic they used is beginning to age poorly.... Hence why they are becoming brittle
