What Color Anno?

Got some parts in for my Phantom tonight. Picked up a Sergi Humpback Frame in the raw, and a Redz Grenade ASA, as a silly / fun part. Also shown are a set of CCM Delrin grips.

Once they come back in stock, an ICD leverchanger / stock will be screwed into the Grenade.

Question now is, what color anno do I do for the grip frame?

I was thinking red to match the trigger housing, and give contrast to the black grips.

But an all blacked out build would look good too, like I had with the previous M16 grip.

What say you guys?

Oh, and side note, I was leaning Red, as I thought the contrast would be nice.

Thought I'd put the poll up to see if im crazy or if Red really is the right choice lol.

I like the red, but I am a fan of red and black markers

My vote is red with the grip but black with the grenade and black Hogue grip.

I already have been in contact with a gentleman named Ryan at ARC. He said I can send in my trigger group housing and they will polish and color-match.

I have experience with anodizing, and I am sure it won't be a 100% match (aluminum alloy and batch-to-batch variations are inevitable), but he said he would do his best.

Can't ask for more.

I say you have a good excuse to anno the whole thing. But I do agree with your red/black idea:

Red/Black old school splash like above.....no need to decide colors, just pick your ratios/proportions of black/red/silver......(see above)

Sunset fade? The trigger housing is red, but the lighting makes it look different (if thats what you're referring to).

I thought it was a fade at first too. The lighting does make it look that way…..I think the universe is trying to tell us something….

latches109 , now that I think about it, has anybody ever done a 2-color fade like the older Autocockers? I've seen phantoms with splash and acid wash anno, but dont think I've ever seen a fade.

You know I dont think I have seen a fade on a phantom. Seen plenty of splash, multi different colors like the joker T2, or Lego, but not fade.
