Kingman Chaser - need measurements on tiny striker spring

I picked up a Kingman Training Chaser in a box of other stuff. Works perfectly except for one piece missing: a tiny spring that presses a ball bearing into the back cap of the striker. I have the bearing still. It’s part 74 from the manual (see attachments). To ensure the bolt didn’t fly out the back I put an o-ring between the striker cap and the striker and tightened down the screw.

Does anyone own a Chaser or Eraser and a micrometer? I want to know the OD, ID, length, and # of coils for the spring. Figure I can buy a spring off eBay or something and cut it down if needed. Ace Hardware doesn’t have one small enough, and I’ve tried springs from clicky pens and mechanical pencils. I can’t find this part anywhere. ANSgear pointed me to Kore, who pointed me to ANSgear.

Or I suppose if someone has an assembled striker on hand, hit me up 😉

      OK, here we go!
      Length - 9.25mm
      OD - 3.25mm
      ID - 2.25
      8 coils

Glad I did this. Found that my striker oring was chopped. Good time to replace it!

I looked all over for just the right spring, but I’d either need to order hundreds of them or pay $20 to ship a spring that would fit in an envelope. So I decided to be more flexible on the dimensions.

Here’s what I bought. They’re way too long, but there are 10 of them so I have plenty of room for error 😂 They are 3mm wide, so slightly smaller than what you measured, but what’s 1/4 mm among friends?

Springs came in late last week. I trimmed one down to about 2 coils longer than the cavity in which it sits. Seems to be just about perfect! The striker back cap snaps into each of the positions nicely.
