I work, and therefore I am allowed to spend my money as I please. If anyone has a problem with it, I will show them the door (which I also pay for).

Nah, some women understand a man needs his hobbies and will give us room. My lady doesn’t care, but will make fun of me for liking “toys.” I have found the investment excuse does reduce her ridicule, but I like the challenge of coming up with a list of excuses for why I need this and that.
