    Cocker ID (Boston Cocker?)

    Hey,

I found a Craigslist listing of an ex tournament player that is unloading a ton of gear. His prices seem high, but I am willing to make reasonable offers on some of his gear. He has this cocker that he says is a Boston cocker. He wants $600 which seems astronomical for what I see. Anyone here have a value and info on it?

    Thanks!

Pblocked 98 body... Wgp made those for special order. Possibly bought from Boston paintball but not a Boston cocker.

Meh parts. And a fake dye frame.

    That's a $250 tops gun.

pics of other side?(what detent?) serial #? WGP did make p block early guns- mostly mini's they were called 'superlight' (something light) i think? hard to find info on them. or could just be a custom. from the sto p block, the old parts, and milling on the gun- looks like one.

        Yep, featherlight.

I've been hunting for a vert feed featherlight for many years.

$600 is approaching the price for the whole lot not just one marker

If that's his pricing he has to be around new retail price on the etha 1 and etek 3lt

His prices seem very high to me. But he may just not know the market. I haven't offered on anything yet so I don't know if he is reasonable or not. https://maine.craigslist.org/spo/d/g...462675393.html

The guy is trying to sell tanks that are past their life.. not sure the regs are worth that much
seem to confuse an Ion with a shocker... but might be missing some pictures as I dont see any old school shocker
I dont know which of the Eclipse he is talking about at 375 but his price seem too high

Doesn't look like a P-block, at least not the Evolution style. Looks to me more like the STO style.

But yeah, early Jackhammer reg, early Unireg, Dragun, I think, knockoff swing frame, antique Clippard ram... That could potentially be a QuikSwitch, but I can't say for sure. Absolutely nothing about it says "Boston", unless BP once cleaned and timed it. Or the previous owner bought it there as a used trade-in marker or something.

yeah i just call em that -like the whole 3 way 4 way thing- its actually the same back block as an early sto, '98 style

It could very well be a ā€œBostonā€ autococker. Back in the early days Boston would build you a cocker to your specs. Youā€™d pick your body, left or right feed, what if any milling you wanted. They polished all the internals. You could even have it powder coated, which I did and it didnā€™t last long šŸ˜‚. So even if itā€™s not a fancy twister it still could have originally been a ā€œBostonā€ . The grip definitely isnā€™t from them.
This is a original front block except the volumizer off of early Boston
