Diablo hammer interchangeability?

Picked this diablo pump up here a little while back and just got around to opening it up. Someone tapped the body for a site rail and instead of using a shorter screw they ground down the hammer.
Anybody know if these are interchangeable with other nelsons or am I only looking for a diablo hammer?

Yes and no about interchangeability, generally hammers for Nelson Clones are pretty interchangeable but there were no standards back then so variation between manufacturers is pretty typical. So you should not have too hard a time finding a new hammer. I've had pretty good luck with Line SI/ICD and LAPCO hammers working with most other markers. You may have to change out the sear that is where the most variation tends to reside.

I think I might need to swap the sear spring on this thing anyways. It seems a bit too light. Now to find a hammer...

So I realized I have a different problem to contend with. The stud for the cup seal is snapped off of the power tube. Whoopsy

Lapco #4 or #6 should work fine.

Outside of your broken power tube, a classic CCI hammer will work in your Diablo. Put a fluted hammer in my brothers Diablo as there wasn't one in it when he purchased it. the sear will need to be transferred as Grendel mentioned.

I'll keep that in mind.

It looks like bacci actually has a complete set of guts in pieces for a diablo. So I may be able to just get correct parts.

Cleaned up the rest of it. Even if it doesn't work it's gotta look good.

Thanks. Probably my favorite lonestar replacement. My other diablo(deluxe) has one as well. It does need a good bit of work to get it to fit. After I got it fitting the pocket, I loctited a piece of 1/4-20 all-thread in place of the stock screw and then used a female furniture bolt to secure it at the bottom.

I might have to replace the 90 on the hose with a 45. It looks like it may hit the tank.
