    Autocockerparts.com ICS

Hello friends, has anyone tried out Autocockerparts.com ICS lower tube? With TJD seemingly out of the paintball scene entirely I'm curious how Autocockerparts.com ICS system would compare. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Is it just meant for karnivors? Looks like you need a compatible back block. Unless I'm looking at the wrong one.

Looks very similar to how TJD dose his but stainless hammer instead of a brass. CCM is very similar in design as well but the CCM isn’t designed to come apart easily and the CCM is all stainless.

The thing I like most about the TJD is the small grommet designed to hold the back block. I made a rubber one for my CCM that works well for me. This made a huge improvement in feel and function. It keeps the back block from getting scratched up to. The oring just don’t last that long then it’s metal on Ano. Like nails on a chalkboard and something I think CCM should have addressed. After I modified mine it’s probably my favorite out of the ones I have used (Last photo is what I used I found one that fit the cocking rod then trimmed one lip off so it fit inside the back block cocking rod hole.)

I think TJD made the best out of the box kit. But they all function similar. If you put them on something super smooth like a CCM there is a trade off it gives the pump stroke more of a mechanical feel IMO regardless of what kit you use. ACP looks like it would be a decent alternative but I haven’t tried one.

Thanks for posting photos! It's nice being able to see them side by side. I'm surprised it makes the pump stroke more mechanical feeling, I assumed if anything it would lighten it up. Good to know. I guess it's worth a shot at least.
