Cdn_Cuda, are you asking if the metal detents of the T9 could be replaced with rubber ones, assuming they are the same shape and design of the existing T9's or are you asking of the rubber detents of the T9.1 can fit in the T9s?
In theory, if one can make a rubber detent that fits the mounting for the detents in a T9, then yes, it should work. However, the other way to interpret the question of if the existing rubber detents for the T9.1/T8.1 will work in a T9, then the answer is NO. They mount onto the barrel differently.
