For you guys who have the ASP Phantom detent mod, has it completely solved your rollout problem? I run my MVP and CCMs with .677 and .678 barrels and I STILL get rollouts here in hot and humid South Texas.

Asp mod is great. Like Havoc said, put in the right oring or horseshoe for the job and it’s flawless. You can take the barrel off and shake the phantom, still holds strong.Comment

For the first time ever last month, I had no rollouts or double feeds. Also for the first time ever, my Phantom had the detent mod and a Lapco 681.
It was the least frustrating day of play ever. So good.

I had some rollouts with SUPER tiny (~.670) paint with my ASP detent Phantom, but it was a rarity.💀 PK x Ragnastock 💀Comment

Also dude grab some Freedummy detents to use in addition to whatever other bore control you're using.💀 PK x Ragnastock 💀Comment

The Freedummy Detents work Awesome for any size paint. Just be careful if you run a barrel swab or remove the barrel they are easy to lose like the Old CCI detent rings.Comment

Freedummy is a member on here just PM and ask about detents. I'm sure he will get around eventually to setting up a Sales Thread again. I keep a few of his detents for various markers in my tool kit just in case my normal setups are not working.

Word. Thanks guys, I’ll keep a lookout for his sales thread. I’ll probably definitely incorporate his detents into my rotation since several of y’all have recommended them. Can’t tell you how many double feeds and rollouts I’ve had these past few years. Paint swelling in the heat and humidity is a LIE.Comment
