Hinge Frame Cam Adjuster

My frame is missing one and a parts store is selling what I believe to be just the cam itself, would that still work or do I need to find one with the ball bearing and spring included for the whole thing to work properly?

The spring and bearing are what the safety used....if you have a safety you should be good
