Automag Rainman Pump Kit

Getting ready to send a project out for anodizing and I was curious if anyone remembers or knows if the main guide rod that comes out of the mounting block was locktighted in?

How does the pump kit keep from pulling off the front on those?

Most pump kits are mounted to the bottom of the rail, like you would a vasa. If I remember correctly rainman kit the rod is flat to mount directly to the rail. Others like the XM15 kit had additional block you mount to the rail, rod goes into that.

One day I will get one of my automags pumps running.

The bottom guide rod has a socket head at the end, that rod goes through the pump plate and is hidden in the handle and retains the handle from coming off
