    Machining for Spikes

    Hey,

someone had post a gothic autococker for sale recently, but it was the spikeless version. I commented and a few members mentioned that it could be drilled for spikes, but I don’t recall the machinist they mentioned. Anyone have any idea who could do such a thing?

I'm sure you could ask BMC Fabrication, he works wonders.

Where do you buy the spikes for the gothic bodies these days?

I just make them with Spikes from Spikes & Studs.com and 4-40 set screws from Home Depot. A dab of locktite and some patience. lol

If you're on the face books, look up BMC Fabrication and send a message, otherwise check out his site, send an email. https://www.bmcfabricationservice.com/

He does a great job. There are others too, like Mozak who could also likely do that.

Stanchy made a bunch of the spikes a while back but he's sold out now.

I would reach out to Chris (https://www.facebook.com/cmnfabricat...=page_internal). He does alot of lathe parts and i am sure he would be open to running some spikes.
