The thing that people forget is that PE will not warranty the bag switch or the hair trigger. So if you use anything other than their components and your gun goes down an event where they're working they will basically go lol I can't help you.

That's partially true. If your Bang Switch is having an issue we would recommend you put the stock one back in, or if your HAir valve has an issue then we won't touch that component, but if you have an issue with the regulator, bolt system, or something outside of the aftermarket parts then we would still support all of the factory components still installed.

I am one of the NXL (and sometimes smaller events) event techs, but I am not a full employee of PE.

For the OP, it sounds like you've got it figured out! Trigger, POPs, Barrel, and then see if you want to go any further after that, but I think you'll be good to go with that setup.

It’s not all that hard to fix an Emek 90% of the time it’s the orings on the valve are dirty and the trigger don’t reset like it should. Two screws on the grip frame and two brass pins it pops right out. lil grease and throw it back together. The ones that go down I see have that garbage Bang switch with the cheap colored Orings, or have not been cleaned / maintained ever.

I don't foresee myself playing any (serious) tourneys, and the events I go to don't usually have eclipse techs, so I think I'll be fine.
