    Cocker build what’s worth keeping?

I started messing around with this almost 20 years ago and just found it the other day

It started it’s life as a Boston Paintball LF block build. I want to bring her back.
I’m not sure what’s worth keeping and what I should ditch. I also can’t remember everything that’s on it.
I put a new Rat valve and Belsales roller sear in it and put it away before ever trying them.
Not sure what bolts are here, one’s the original stainless that came with it. Click image for larger version

All the pneumatics are the original Clippard ram, rock reg, and not sure of the 3 way
no idea what it came with for a hammer.

I want to build something with an Eblade, but I don’t think I’ll do it to this body.
I think I’ll look for another center feed body and keep this mechanical.

Nothing wrong with any of that. Really interesting body mill.

Personally I would replace the 3-way with a more modern one but the one you have can be rebuilt and work just fine. Finding a matching 3-way for the build essentially means choosing a PPS. Best performance on the market right now is Inception, but it is very close in my opinion.

If your bolts are a good, tight fit on the body then use them. If they are not a tight fit then maybe your only current production option is Inception. I bet at least one of those bolts is a good fit though, and you might as well use them if they are.
Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!

All the bolts are a good fit. I assumed I’d have to replace the 3 way, I was thinking shocktech.
The milling on the body was done buy a guy who owed me a few bucks. I think he just did what he wanted😂

Shocktech is a solid choice and will match your aesthetic. Available in silver or black though, no chrome or nickel.

Fyi shocktech tried changing some thing on their 3 way to stop it from leaking when the actuator rod was bumped. The result is a very stiff 3 way. Mine was so stiff the trigger wouldn't return with the stiffest trigger spring installed. I had to send it to doc fire for service and he milled down the grooves and now it is perfect. He didn't charge me for the work but I had to pay shipping. A huge pain for a top end product.

What a great thing to uncover. You should be able to get that up and running without much of an issue. Need an HPR and a ASA and you’re good to go! Make sure you post some pictures when you finish the build.

I would keep it period correct. So rebuild what you have, or buy a full new inception setup from Hellion360. neither is a wrong, just preference on looks and performance.

The ram is likely shot and those can't be rebuilt.....other than that I'd ditch the stainless bolt.

Thanks guys. Another question did they make many LF bodies. I’ve been looking around and haven’t come across any.

They didn't market them quite as prolifically as the right feeds are even center feeds they did make quite a few though they just weren't as popular.
