Wedgits

So just recently got ahold of a PMI 2. I am wanting to put wedgits in the barrel, but would prefer to do it myself or closer to home. Don’t really want to send it anywhere, like PPS cause I just don’t feel like waiting, even though they do great work. Anyone have tips on do it yourself wedgits?

I make mine with the head of a bid nail.
If its too deep, slam a socket down the barrel to dent them back out ...

Anybody got tips on lining up the nail just right? Slightly forward of the drop, I suppose?

I take the bolt out and line it up on the outside, then place a ball in front and go from there ...
i can take a pic if there is a need

Yeah I figured that much, and I can refer to my typhoon if needed for ideas, I just wasn’t sure of the tool of choice.
