WGP trilogy leak

I’m rebuilding/ converting a trilogy AC to a pump.

Currently leaks, I replaced all o-rings. I think one issue is the oring that goes onto the velocity adjuster piece of lower tube internals. When I tighten that piece into the lower tube, oring is forced through a drilled hole where the beaver tail would attach (gun came without beaver tail).

im new to ACs but they are simple. Not sure if I need a new cup seal? It’s appears to be ok.

also can someone confirm, that I do not need a valve tool for a trilogy AC

Leaking down the barrel?

Keep in mind that usually on pump autococker you need to pull on the cocking rod on the gun to latch it before airing. This is to make sure the hammer is not pressing too hard on the valve and create a leak when gassing.

I did try that, still leaks. It’s gotta be something so simple. Thanks for suggestions though

Try upping your input pressure on your HPR. Sometimes if the HPR pressure is too low it won't fully seal the valve so you get a wee leak down the barrel.

The velocity adjuster o-ring should just be there to help keep it from unthreading. I don't think it's an actual seal. I recently had to rebuild mine (not trilogy) due to cup seal. And when installing new Inception IVG, it kept shredding that o-ring. The groove on it is less deep than the stock one so no matter how thin an o-ring I put on there, it would catch the threads. But it won't cause a leak.

My cup seal looked generally fine so I replaced all o-rings but still leaked. Took it apart again and saw that the stem on the seal was a little worn. Replaced it and no more leaks. Mine was a massive leak down barrel but visually the seal still didn't look that bad; visual inspection may not be enough.

The oring on the ivg is just there to keep it from moving on its own, it doesn't hold any air pressure. The valve is most likely your culprit, the valve itself doesn't need any special tools to remove, just take out the 1/8" Allen from the bottom of the body, and push the valve out the rear of the body. Sometimes it takes a little force, just use something softer than the brass. A wooden dowel or plastic rod works great for this.

I’m going to replace the cup seal, I think that’s the culprit. I replaced all o rings. I should have the part tomorrow.

I have cleaned up valves and cup seals using this method especially the plastic ones. You can probably save the old one.
