    Cocker grip frame ID

I just added one of these to my 99 STO. Mine is the dust black version. It seems to be a Dye clone. I was told the name in passing as I inherited it but I can't remember the actual mfg.

These were the frames that came mounted on the Superbolt. I'm not aware of their being packaged for separate retail at the time.

Note that these are considerably thinner than the DYE hinge frame they were copied from, to the extent that most wraparound .45 grips will bulge out at the front.

Yeah, I've got blingy 45 clear covers with interchangable color panels on mine. Kind of gaudy buy I kinda like it too. I'll have pics after I get the STO cleaned up from 2 days of ICPL team practice this past weekend. Also with the thinner bit... You aren't joking! I had to change beavertails too since the one I really liked didn't like the lack of flat meat on the back so it wouldn't spin. Swapped it with one of my teammate's cockers since her's didn't fit her frame in the opposite way.
