Price Check on Tippmann X7 phenom and Tipx

I really have never followed these but I now have these to sell and would appreciate the help from people that already love these on the value.

Both shoot perfectly and don't double feed or leak. The x7 is select fire with whatever that upgraded barrel is and the AR style stock setup. Also has "Force" hopper adapter, though the cyclone is dialed in. The tipx has four 7 round magazines and both the stock barrel and a hamerhead .688 barrel.

X7 phenom is a spool valve hybrid mech/electric set up.... An a5 is a sear fired blowback

And to confuse the matter, a standard X7 (non-phenom) is basically an A5. Phenoms internal air lines, X7 has an air line.

Correct. The X7 "Classic" is essentially an A5 with a few extra quirks.

The X7 Phenom is basically a Tippmann Automag. Literally. Functions almost identically. Very smooth, and works well with sear-tripper electro frame.

Prices seem realistic to me. Not a great resale value on the Phenom. That is a TPX, not a TIPX, so an older generation. Needs to be updated internals equal to TIPX as I believe there were issues with the TPX. So it’s also on the lower end of the value scale

I recently paid $290 for my secondhand Phenom Minimalist (an Eric Engler modified Phenom), and then picked up a spare set of guts for $50 on the 'Bay just so that I have spares.

I think $300 is a fair asking price for your setup. Maybe haggle a bit, bit I'd start there.

Not really, they were fairly cheap when new. Typically they help sell a package but on their own, cheap and rough to sell individually

I looked into it and it appears This is a later TPX that included all the upgrades that began in the TPX era and carried over to the TIPX. I think the easiest way to tell is if it came only with 7 round mags but also because of the serial number being later than the 9000-11000 range noted as the change over.

plus the fact that it shot ancient turdball paint perfectly.

I’m just bumping this to say that the e paintball link is out of stock and no one has had the phenom new for a while. I didn’t realize that. I guess I never paid enough attention to the post model 98 tippmanns.
