Those are 1800psi tanks, I wouldn't recommend it.....

No, co2 tanks are designed around about 900psi operating pressure. While you could technically keep HPA in it under 900, it's just not worth the risk of overfilling

Actually CO2 tanks are typically 1,800 PSI working pressure rated (the one in the picture is), and hydrotested at 3,000 PSI (thus the 3k burst disc on newer CO2 tanks). Can you put an HPA reg on it? Sure. Should you? Why would you? It looks like a small tank, maybe a 4oz? A tiny tank like that filled to 1,800 PSI would probably get you even less shots than a 12 gram. If you want a small HPA tank, pick up one of the First Strike 13ci/15ci/17ci 4,500 PSI tanks. They're still on sell at ANS. Not as cheap as they were, but still cheaper than they were six months ago.
        I can haz feedback?
If I owe you feedback, just remind me, as I sometimes forget.

No you can’t without creating unnecessary danger for you and others. If you want a small tank Tippmann sells a 9ci just get that it’s cheap (49.95). Especially when you consider you get to keep your fingers and it’s a lifetime hydro tank.

Btw with an efficiently setup Phantom I get an easy 150+ shots off a hot fill 9ci at 280fps.

There used to be an 1800 psi reg designed for exactly this, putting air into a co2 tank. Obviously 1800 psi isn’t much even in a 20oz so it never took off. Even if you could find one good luck with it working. But it was thing at one point in the late nineties.

Very short lived... Nitroduck made them and sold only to field owners as a cheap way to convert rental fleets. Iirc sold with a booster to match
          Working...
