Single shot users - I have questions.

For anyone running 'em, whatcha using to carry your paint? I have a pretty good setup for SC, I think, but single shot is taking it to a whole other level.

Are you rocking a fannypack, 90's kid style? Still running 10 round tubes?

Never done it myself but I've seen people use dump pouches with draw strings. There also a Spiderman style wrist dispenser on eBay.

Usually either put em in a cargo pocket or fannypack though.

Sporting Clays pouches would be good options. No real game experience with them. MAr would have real experience with single shot play (with two barrels)

We play this style all the time. I wear cargo pants and throw in a handful in my cargo pocket or throw some in my dump pouch. Generally I’m carrying tubes and just empty out a few at a time. It’s a blast to play this style.

I use a rock climbing chalk bag behind my back and a dump pouch for spent 12ies. Works great!

I use a dump pouch or fanny pack, it’s dangerous either way cause I scoot around a lot and usually end up losing paint. I’m trying to finagle a way to hold them higher up on my chest, maybe a neck pouch or something

I sprinkle the field with paint before the game starts. Then slowly mosey around picking up what I need. I call it the squirrel method. Because of my sloth like movement, people think I'm out, Lost or senile. But I do use a dump bag to get the paint to the field.

Don’t forget to bury a few rounds here and there a few weeks before the game.

Haha I’ve actually played by picking paint off the ground before. Only when I’m rockin a slingshot though, and only what I can tell was fresh paint droppings.

Obviously I'm a big fan of how you’ve coined it the “squirrel method”. Will definitely use the term from now on.

Grab a dump pouch or fanny pack and toss 15 or 20 rounds in it and add more out of 10 round tubes as you need it. Works great for roundball or FSR if that’s your thing (or a mixture).

These ones are like $10 from
Mr. Bezos….the liner rips after a while but mine’s made it 2 seasons so far.


And because overcomplicating a simple, and incredibly effective process is just what I do…I am working on a FSR dispenser for zoomies… (ignore the unicorn bandaid

I use the exact same setup for single shop as I do for SC.
I have a heavy belt with a drop leg PB mafia 10rd tube holder and a dump pouch on the other side.

I just put the paint in the dump pouch for single shot 👍

For first strikes, I use Dukie pez dispensers. They are perfect.

For round ball, I cut the bottom of 10rd tubes so they have two fingers and just pull the balls out of the bottom.

You can do the same with FSR, just load them “upside down”.

You can also toss a DYE DAM spring in there too to help feed. Just find a way to attach the cap a little more securely

Only concern is taking a shot to one and trashing your paint

Yeah the Dukie Pez dispenser is just that. I don't know if you've seen one before. 10rd tube with with spring inside pushing the balls out. You load them from the "bottom"

I use a pb mafia dump pouch and toss 50-100 rounds in depending on game type. Wear it mid belt over my junk so it’s accessible, provides a bit of protection, and doesn’t bounce around as much as if it was directly over a leg. I’ll palm a few rounds as I play for faster loading. Works great

I do the same Ball Bag on a Belt grab 2 or 3 for follow up shots. I carry FS the same way.

I really want a few of those trick pez dispensers Nick is working on (Duke style). They would be fun with 4 of them loaded on my Stock class Gauntlet.
