Extracting a screw from stripped threads

Today has been a rollercoaster. The k-frame to finish my pgp off arrived, I rushed home after work to swap the frame onto the body, tightened the screw in the front and immediately knew something was off. The screw refuses to tighten or loosen, it's not that the head is stripped, it rather seems the threads in the body or on the screw must be. I've tried prying under it with flat tweezers while unscrewing, and currently have an Allen key super-gluing into place to see if pulling it helps? Any other advice? Pics attached for your enjoyment.

The good news is she's pretty as hell, and I might be able to make the new pump handle Friday.

Try “compressing” the PGP to the frame while in screwing/unscrewing. It’s a tight it, I know I need push them together pretty firmly to get the screw in/out. Back the RVA way out too

Makes sense. I'm gonna back the RVA out as well to relieve some pressure. I think I'll wait a bit for the superglue to set though, I got impatient earlier and it was no good.

Yet another rollercoaster. I was thrilled to think I'd extracted the screw, but it seems I managed to extract the threads somehow as the photo shows. Everyone say a prayer to the brass gods for me in hopes it's salvageable.
