    Sheridan pmi II on hpa

Would like to know if a Sheridan pmi II will work on hpa and if any modifications are necessary? Thanks in advance

Should just be good to go if your output is in the 800-850 range. That's where Co2 lives.

You may also need to open the air transfer ports in the valve up as hpa is a bit less dense. Its marker dependent. I have some brass that just works on hpa, and some I've had to mod.

But fossilhead is spot on, 800-850 psi reg output.

For me, if I want to run hpa I open up the transfer port between the lower and upper tube to 1/4" I.d. And also the intake port on the bolt itself..I usually angle the port hole in the bolt so you don't have that 90* turn..
I just finished uncle Jerrys build and I had to cut the main spring down a tad as it was hitting 358 with the rva backed all the way out...
Make sure your bolt O rings are sealing well.. I blow down the barrel tube to make sure they are sealed tightly..

I do the ol finger test. I see if it makes that pop sound. My latest builds have been fitting so tight that the barrel will make that pop when I remove the barrel tip

Thanks Walz for the extra reply, will use all this excellent information when I attempt a build.
