Under Armor Turf Cleats I get about 3 years of abuse out of them. I find they are way more durable than the trail runners I used for years. I have used Speed cross 3,4,5 cheap Walmart kicks as well. They are thin not very supportive and the paint eats the glue holding the bottoms on after a season or two. I loved The Addis’s Turf Hogs they were hands down the best and were cheaper but they got discontinued. The Under Armor are the next best thing. Comfortable supportive and durable. They grip on any surface the toe rolls over the front of the shoe to provide traction when crawling up the snake/pipes field. They work on wet logs and moss covers rocks in the woods. they are like Velcro on wet /paint covered turf fields if you play Xball. You can plant a foot and pop out of a slide even on the slickest of surfaces. I’m on my 2nd pair so far and I don’t see myself getting anything else unless these get discontinued before I need a new pair. I have actually considered buying an extra pair just to have them.

Besides this year, we don’t have rain here. Probably won’t work for all conditions.

I was actually surprised how well the rubber turf spikes hold up in the woods the small spikes grip really well in all conditions. Adidas glues hold up really good to paint oils. I bet these work well.

As others have said; trail runners. I usually wear an old pair of Solomon XA Pro 3D Gortex trail running shoes, waterproof has been handy lately with the muddy fields. They’re not cheap, but usually repurpose my old ones to paintball use.

Trail runners, yes! Seeing so many people wear them makes me happy. Now if only I actually had a pair...

Right now, I'm wearing out a pair of HK Shredders I bought on clearance years ago. They're trail-runner-adjacent. After wearing those a couple times, I went back to the site & bought another pair. Despite reviews saying they fall apart easy, the first pair is still holding on.

Canadian Forces Surplus MK4 Goretex Combat Boots. They're made of heavy pebbled leather so they'll last forever. None of the crappy nylon and 1/2" thick foam padding of the commercial combat boots that are basically glorified basketball shoes. The pebbled leather hides scuffs and the only upkeep to keep them looking brand new is rub on some boot paste with a toothbrush. Waterproof and basically impossible to roll your ankle in. They are very heavy though.

Been running cleats for years for all types of paintball. Football, soccer, baseball, but recently I’m been very satisfied with new balance lacrosse cleats.

I have weird feet, so what's comfortable to me may not apply to normies. I swear by Xero boots They are pricy, but the company has regular sales. They are extremely lightweight and comfortable, and they have held up very well against rough terrain with near weekly use.
