Does anyone know if the hiviz clip on shotgun sight would work on a paintball barrel? I guess they used to make a paintball specific one back in the day but can’t find them.

I've seen it before, it doesn't seem like it works on everything
Also, it sits super super low and always looks cheap, like not in a good way cheap

I had it on a PGP once, seemed to work ok. I had to melt/stretch one to fit on a splatmaster.
I did pick up one of these a while back, nice to have something that isn't permanent and is easy to fit on everything.
The Sector Pro Sight is a silicone non-slip tight fit paintball barrel pro sight mount with a universal design that fits most barrels on the market. The durable and no-damage design keeps your barrel safe while helping you to easily identify your barrel tip and sight picture for more accurate shots.

Speedballers are selling something similar:
Sector Paintball Pro Sight (Green Sight) Silicone non-slip tight fit paintball barrel pro sight. Universal design fits most barrels on the market. Durable and no-damage design to keep your barrel safe. Easily identify your barrel tip and sight picture for more accurate shots. Developed and tested by Professional Paintb
Dunno how it works in speedball though, or with any vertical feed marker. If you switch hands, it seems like you'd need two since you'll e looking around both sides of the feedneck.

I run one on my FS Phantom I put it in a coffee cup full of water warmed it up a bit and clicked it on and it works great for me it’s effective for what I use it for.
Speedball is all mussel memory, if your not point shooting every shot your already on your way to the dead box.2 Photos

They also aim over the top don’t have to worry about the clays shooting back while they maintain cover and keep the smallest profile possible while firing. It’s apples and oranges. Shooting clays you have time to aim it’s more about leading and tracking. You do that in paintball but you rarely have that luxury of time especially when the game is sped up on an Xball field. If it helps you I don’t have a problem with it. But if your snap shooting heads up, coming out aiming and adjusting your already shot against any decent gun battler. Pro players are watching the field using their peripheral sight down the outside edge of the marker and muscle memory.

Funny you mentioned clay shooting Toestr. I been shooting sporting clays for years and use a hiviz on my Beretta A390. I built a WGP right feed pump recently and thought it would help aid me some what in paintballing.

HiViz makes a "paint gun" sight and NIB ones are on ebay right now for 15. They come in two sizes, just under 1" OD and then a 1" OD. The ones on ebay are the less than 1" size. It's the version with the fiber optic just on the top, they also have one with two optics on either side but haven't seen that one pop up in a long time. Never used one, always thought they were a cool old school novelty.

I put a MeProLight Bullseye on an adjustable riser for my FSR Trracer build. Seems to work well enough, it’s a pistol sight but you’re never really shooting a paintball marker much beyond pistol ranges even with FSR anyway. It’s pretty neat, you look with both eyes open and it “paints” the bullseye right over whatever you’re aiming at. I used the version made for glocks and then bought some glock plate to pic rail adapters to get it to mount to my Trracer.

This is basically just an updated version of the old HiViz version. Has me intrigued, especially with using Phantom (over the barrel pump handle), or just in general. But I don't really pay much attention to the barrel, and keep an eye on where paint is going, adjust from there.
