Single color anno cost

What's the average cost of a dust black anno for a single part, there's a nick in the cocker body I just got i didn't notice before I bought and is gonna drive me nuts lol

That was the first thing I tried lol, the body isn't dust black I just figured that's the easiest to anno, even still it would need to be sanded out to satisfy me

There are touch up pens for anodizing. I have no idea how well they work.

Prices vary wildly if you contact a local finishing house. I've seen everything from 'be here at 9am sharp'(free) to ~$1k minimum (even for one part...they really didn't want little customers). That said, I would stick to anodizers well known in the paintball circles as they will be much more keen on the functional aspects of the parts and the aesthetic quality you expect. I'm not sure what they're charging.

Im no pro, but i feel having the dist finish re blasted will be the costly part. Unless you simply want the body re stripped and annod. If you just want black, and you don't want the body re polished or re blasted. Id find a local anodizer. And ask them to toss the body in a batch with other black items to be anodized. Black and clear are common enough on non paintball parts that they should have a batch avialable to toss it into. That should drop your cost quite a bit.

Well of course it would need to be worked out first and the body refinished before anno

The refinishing part is what will cost you more then what it would cost to buy Another AIM eagle body.

You could always look into cerakote. Cost me about $100 to do a whole marker. Seems to hold up pretty good

Cerokote holds up just as good as Ano from My experience. This would probably be a good candidate for Cerokote because it’s already been there the Harding process of anodizing. Still it will need to be refinished. But a good Cerokote application like Bearfoot I’m sure could sand blast most of it away so it would be much less noticeable. I would do all the parts to mach in a cool unique color while you’re at it.
