    Cocker bolt breech/barrel gap

Just want to make sure I'm not crazy, but I can't recall...

How much gap should there be between the face of the bolt and the barrel (or the start of the barrel threads)? When looking into the breech there is maybe 1/4" (rough estimate) of space. Should the bolt be right up to the back of the barrel?

    .125" is normal
BUT it does not matter AS long as your bolt has enough travel to clear the breach and load a ball
