They just don’t make pod packs like they use to. Who still makes quality pod packs. I miss the days of quality pod packs I use to get 2-3 seasons out of a NXE pod pack playing 2x a weekend every weekend. I recently picked up a Dye assault pack 4+(Whatever) that lasted literally 2 days of play. Before that I had a planet eclipse Pod pack that lasted about year before the Velcro was toasted. Probably used the pack about a half season worth at best. I rarely use 140 round pods anymore. I have a Debo design pack that’s a 6+ pack for 10man that’s ok but showing signs of deteriorating after very little use. Dose anyone make good pod packs anymore. I want durability can that be purchased today or do I need to find new old stock? Anyone got a pod pack they have used regularly for a few seasons that has lasted. I hate breaking in new gear especially every 3-4 months. It seems like everything I buy is junk these days. I need something with straps I despise anything strapless dumping pods on the ground is not my thing and I’m not willing to buy special pods just so I don’t.

The Empire Compressor Pack Hex FT Paintball Harness is the most technical pod pack in the game! Shop for the Empire Compressor Pack Hex FT Paintball Harness at the Lowest Price Guaranteed.
I've used that ^ pack since 2014 for 20-25 events. Add in all the practices and I'm pretty thrilled with its longevity. The only caveats are that the compressor band makes it hard to self-load (I ended up cutting it off) and that I have a couple rips--but no failures--in the elastic now.

Doesn't help that some of them are made 5" shorter in the waist. I'm still using an old NXe Elevation (post-Tippmann). Found a new old stock Dye Assault earlier this year, but doesn't work well with 100 rd pods (I haven't used full size hoppers in some time).

My issue with strapless packs is I slide and dive a lot. Pods pop open all the time. When I play xball we have a team pod bag and pool paint so it’s often grab and go. I had a n event in FL slid into a corner and dumped all my pods on the ground 5seconds into the point. I never want that to happen again. I don’t want to buy $9 pods so that don’t happen. We buy them by the case so if I loose a few on the field it’s not a big deal. Might give that empire pack a shot. See how it holds up.
