    Stock class gear?

Where can a guy find stock class gear, like harness?

Depends on what your preference is in carrying, like on your back, leg, wrists, waist. And your budget. PB Mafia (Topstitch) is your best bet, best quality, many options, but most expensive. The Joyride will always be highly recommended, the most popular stock class pack ever made. You can run tubes capless. They also have a leg harness (requires a belt), wrist, 50 round pod pack.

For a more simple and less expensive approach, I really like the padded adjustable shotgun belt sold on Evike. Just throw on a Condor roll up dump pouch and you're good to go.

I use the evike setup listed above with a dump pouch and it works well

I can't access the evike site but another cheap option is to go with the 12 gauge shell holders for shotgun stocks. They hold 5 tubes and depending on your size, you can put them on your wrists or belt

I bought a generic shotgun shell belt on eBay. Feels like pretty good quality. I run mine as a bandolier to hold tubes and put 12gs in a pouch on my belt.

I really like the Joyride from here… good for more of a traditional pack feel. It holds plenty of paint great for larger SC games or if you shoot a lot I don’t think I have ever shot mine completely empty.

They also have a drop leg (not a fan of as I hip slide) and a chest rig ( I wear loose denim jerseys so they fit odd for me) I definitely prefer the Joyride myself.

I also run two of the WTF Gauntlets… nice light weight great for quick turnaround games, I don’t use a dump pouch and just slide them back in empty after filling. You don’t have to remove the pack to fill. Downside is you will have a nice hard surfaces exposed every time you snapshoot.

Cheap shotgun shell holders hold 12g and and tubes just fine too.

I run one of these stretched around my wrist on my inner forearm to hold 12g it’s cheap they last a while and keeps my 12g close for quick change outs.

+1 for pbmafia joyride. Super comfortable and it comes with a little add on bit for a few 12ies. I use their dump pouch as well. I’ve had mine for 7 years, take the tubes and 12’s out when I get home, elastic and velcro still holding strong.

I've had my Ronin Gear harness forever. When I played with it this last time I will say something didn't feel "right" about it. I think I read someone somewhere say the elastic just doesn't hold up over the long term, agreed, and the tube layout isn't ideal. I do like that it is on my back rather than around my waist/hips because I tend to run/slide/crawl around. I ordered some of the pbmafia stuff recently. Glad to see the good reviews. We'll see...

I don't know if this would have helped you, but when I was using those sorts of harnesses it worked better to store them empty- without any tubes in the sleeves.

Me too, but I can't help but feel like they get me spotted/shot more often than dark ones.

I have tried a few Amazon shotgun shell belts and a generic dump pouch. The belts work ok but never seemed to have the right distance between the loops so it has been hard to get tubes in and out. Some guys at my local field are using the pb mafia joyride and I think I will give that a shot. The evike setup mentioned above looks nice compared to what I tried.

IMHO you can not beat the Joyride. Well made, comfortable, configurable and you can easily carry more paint and CO2 then you need if you want too but nothing forcing you to do so. I did shotgun bandoliers/belts in my early days of PB and always thought that was enough for me until I actually splurged on a Joyride and wished I had gone that route when they first came out. That being said you have to find what works for you and is comfortable for you.

Another +1 for the Joyride. They're great.

That said, I have partially retired my Joyride as I have started using caps again and that has allowed for use of a simple shotgun belt. I like the shotgun belt cause of its simplicity and because I can use it in lieu of an actual belt, whereas the Joyride attaches with velcro more like a traditional pack.

The link for the caps is excellent. Thank you for that!

                      Joyride again.

Topstitch simply makes the best packs . Joyride is my stock class rig. I have 2 "M" packs as well. The material and build quality is top notch.

+1 for Joyride. I've had mine for ~7 years, of which time I honestly haven't played a whole lot... but it makes loading on the field an absolute breeze.

Notably, the velcro might be nearing it's EOL...or maybe I've just had too much cheese lately.

WTF or Whiskey Two Four has a few stock class options. A little pricey but quality is top notch.

I have a chest rig, gauntlet and a battle belt. They were all in stock when I purchased them so shipping and delivery times were what I consider normal.
