    What is this?

Hey guys. A buddy of mine has had this for a while and is looking to let it go. I know it is a pump, but just wanted to see what kind of pump it is. And if doesn’t break the rules, maybe a price check too. It’s not working right now, but maybe it is worth my time picking it up. Thanks in advance

It's a CAM Air tank , sold with many BE markers. The burst disc was located on the bottom of the tank. If you were silly enough, to use a butt-cap stock on it. When the burst disc ruptured, it often sent the butt-cap airborne.

    ....and that old address

    7050-A Bramalea Road, Unit 17
    Mississauga Ontario L5S 1T1
    Canada
    416-671-3056

...is the same as address as Brass Eagle's original storefront.

I don't know the history why there were two company names ie. Darkside Inc. / Brass Eagle ? The signage out front for sure said Brass Eagle.

I walked in there in my late teens and bought a brand new king cobra pump.

I remember seeing the double action guns like the Jaguar, and a golden eagle semi on the display wall, and pining for that marker, but minimum wage back then was what, $6-7/hour ???

I remember when you first walked into the unit, there was a stairwell going upstairs, and the left stairwell wall was decorated with several multi-colour annodized pump guns going up. I think that meant the Brass Eagle offices were upstairs.

The storefront was on the main level.

    cheers, M7

Without even scrolling down to see what it was that thing looks like Brass Eagle. The feedneck is a dead giveaway.

According to google maps, that building is now a Punjabi radio station that people don't like for reasons that I can't quite discern.

Anyone know anything about this marker? I got one from a bulk purchase of some old makers. I decided to make a MagFed body for it, but for some reason it is not reaching the FPS it is supposed to. Any help would be appreciated.

What is your air source? HPA or CO2?
Edit...Also, Could the original body reach velocity previously? More information is always helpful.

The original body was in really bad shape and wasn't shooting very well. Inconsistent and maybe 190-210FPS. The barrel was really oversize for the paint anyway. It aired up with no leaks that I could hear. The internals seemed to be in good shape, just needed a little bit of cleaning and oiling.

I am using HPA. 800-830PSI I think. Ninja Tank.
The Barrel is maybe 2-5mm away from the front of the bolt upon firing.
The power tube is about 8mm inside of the bolt.
The hammer is floating and flying back with little to no resistance.(I'll try to sand it and see if that changes)
The bolt is sliding properly and with maybe, +/- 0.2 tolerance/clearance between parts.
The barrel threading is printed right into the body. Very tight fit. Ion/impulse. Evil Pipe Kit(.686) with Deadly Winds Carbon Fiber front. 16inch long.

            Printer : Artillery Genius. A 20X * 20Y * 20Z test cube printed as 20.02X * 20.01Y * 20.00Z
Print Settings : ELEGOO PLA+, 100% infill, 0.2 layer height, 4 perimeter passes, 0.4 nozzle, 210 nozzle temp, 75 bed temp.

I'll gladly upload the STL files once I get home. If anyone feels like giving this mod a go.

Could be the open breach. Normally bolt tip oring seals in Forward position. Could also be the cup seal is old and sticky. I would start there. Pull the cup seal take a look at it. They are Nelson based arnt they? If so they Rely on the internals moving freely look for binding issues. If the internals are really pitted give them a good polish and clean the inner bore of the body look for old paint or anything that can cause the internals from sliding smoothly and constantly into the back valve body power tube. If that cup seal is shot it will cause the issues you are describing.
