you guys have given great advice and my head is spinning! I have option here to build an automag to snagging an etha 3m, used gtek, and shocker cvo's! other then the automag all around the same price point!
I'm honestly not sure which one to go for.

lol, Welcome to MCB. All of them is the only logical answer. Honestly all good choices find one in your budget and go for it. As long as you get a good deal you could always sell it, if it’s not what you are looking for.

Buy them all, it's the MCB way. Lol.
Seriously though, if you aren't already experienced with mags, then start with one of the modern "always works" options. Then when you get to tinkering with mags, cockers, or whatever else tickles your fancy you have a reliable backup to pull out if the mag/whatever isn't working right.

Having a workhorse gun and then some fun ones that if they don't work or need to be tinkered with isn't a bad way to go. I have the Emek as my rock solid always will work gun and the others I get can be more unreliable ones to try out. If I really want to go play I grab the Emek and don't worry about the rest. If I am playing and one goes down I like to always have one solid option. Start with a solid gun first. Go play again and see what you like at the field and then buy your fun guns.

I'm an Automag guy. So I definitely think picking up a nice classic valved Mag is a good idea. But...
I'm actually going to recommend a Gtek/Gmek. My Gmek has been my daily driver for a few years now and I just love it. Light trigger pull, nice slider trigger, lightweight, efficient, all aluminum, and I could go on and on. They're really nice shooters. I don't even use the electronic frame because mechanically it's just so nice.
