    Series II Bushmaster 2000

I'm in the process of rebuilding a Series II Bushmaster 2000 and having a few issues getting it to fire.

The marker airs up and the bolt moves rearwards ok but that's as far as it goes. Pressing the trigger does nothing. Even the LED stays lit. so I'm thinking it's either the trigger micro switch, the eyes or board related.

I can't find a manual for the series II anywhere but it does have the same board as the first generation Bushmaster. I did notice that the chip in this one is a Chaos chip by "Paintball Trader" so I assume that it isn't original.

I do have a series one board I can swap in but I assume that there may be a difference in programming because of the eyes.

Not ure its gonna help, but you can always pull the code from the chip ... What are they running for micropross in there?
If you post the assembly i can look at it and let you know the differences 👍

    Edit:
    And both boards say rev.1.01

That's a chaos chip.... He's still around kinda.

Unless it's an Australian thing there wasn't anything named series 2 in the US

I tracked down the Series II badges. The're from an Australian Holden Commodore, LoL

After a bit of searching I think this is a Generation 10 Bushmaster 2000

b2k4 had cocker threading (this one isn't milled back on the front so ICD threads) and the newer frame. Another badge could have been added but gen 10 should have the badge on the other side over the battery door. Does it have a battery door on the other side? If not, I vote hodge podge of parts scraped together.

Can you hear/feel the trigger tripping and releasing the switch? Make sure the set screw that actuates the switch is not set too long or too short.

Didn’t B2K4’s have a separate switch for the PDS $ weren’t they slanted?

Their was a few versions... Slanted, straight and slanted and strait together.

My guess this one was a conversion, you could send b2k4's in for eye upgrades if you were a dealer and had non PDS ones kicking around.

Makes sense. Was there a way to bypass the PDS on conversions? Maybe holding the trigger while powering on? I’ve had a few B2K4’s with PDS but they were all factory.
      Working...
