I picked up a species. Cleaning the grunge out of it and doing a whole rebuild. The ram sleeve does not want to budge or move an inch. I'm planning on buying a bolt to screw into the sleeve so I can yank it out. What size and thread of bolt do I need? (And is this somehow a bad idea?)

Also which way are you trying to remove from? -
Yes to removing the barbs and retaining set screw. Trying to pull it out the rear. I'm having trouble removing the cupseal so I was hoping to pull the sleeve out the back and then remove the cupseal by hitting it from the back.Comment

Cup seal should just come out of the front once the front block is off.Comment
