Any idea what can cause a "leak" in a palmer stabilizer?

I have a new high pressure female palmer stabilizer that's got an issue. The stabilizer as a whole isn't leaking air, but there's an internal leak that causes the pressure to rise. I.e. I set the stabilizer to 400 psi and gas it up, the gauge immediately shoots up to 400 psi. But then if I let it sit for awhile, it gradually rises in pressure until it equalizes with the tank output. I've tried reaching out to their support but haven't gotten a response, and I purchased a full rebuild kit and replaced all the seals and o-rings and it's still happening. Just trying to get some ideas of what I should be looking at.

Did that kit come with a new schrader valve? That's The most likely cause

It came with a replacement for the little pin thingy that the plunger pushes down on to get more air, and the spring behind it. Is that what the schrader valve is? I swapped the new pieces in but it didn't seem to help. Do I maybe need a replacement for the nut the pin goes through?
