    JT Flex 8 Question

So at some point JT changed to mold for JT Flex 8? Older ones have JT on each cheek and never ones don’t. Curious when the changeover was.

Should have the year stamped on the inside

Yes, but all I have are ones from around 05 and they all have JT on the cheeks. Newer ones don’t but no idea when the change happened

I have some I’ll check out in the morning for dates. I’m pretty sure I’ve never owned one with the JT

The newer ones also don’t have that seam running down the middle. Those frames can be worth a decent amount tho.

Good to know! Clearly paintball was really big here in the mid 2000s as that’s the area of most the gear I pick up locally.

Depends on the foams condition but 100-125 for the frames in good condition.

I bought a sand camo flex 8 around ‘07/‘08 and it did not have the jt. Man I miss that one

Sand camo would be worth big money today. I think the JT logo was put on the shell top Flex 8’s. The Full Shield I think they called it. People would just remove rivets on the head piece. Especially as the value climbed. Then there was a new version made. They dropped a bit then became rare again. The hydro finish comes off over time. The nose section would rub on the frame and flake over time with regular use.
