    HPA regulator Questions

I've got a couple Automags and an RT that I've re-built. I'm typically a stock class and or CO2 guy as thats what I grew up with and knew. that just does not fly with anything AGD, so Its time to get with it and get some HPA tanks

It seems there's allot of love for the powerhouse regs around here, and I'd like to pick up a couple. my issue is that the currently available generation of TKO's max's out at 650 PSI, where the older haymkr could be adjusted to 850 ish, but those are out of stock everywhere I look. I also see there was an AGD colab reg that was factory set at 850 - also out of stock.

do any of the ninja regs go to 800 psi? (not easy info to find ) is there a brand you can recommend?

I do have a flatline reg that needs a 3K tank that will adjust to 800+ for the RT. are the mags OK at 650PSI?

also - I do allot of tinkering at home. I think i found a suitable home compressor. how about a gauge to connect to the reg to fine tune adjustment - where can I find one or what ]do i need to codger together one for myself?

Reach out to PowerHouse let an see if they can get you setup. I have reached out to Courtney at powerhouse a few times in the past with great communication. courtney@phcompair.com
Jeff Schriber is the lead tech and does all of the testing and services at events and during builds. He was previously an agd tech and knows the drill.

I had several haymakers set to 850ish. They can do it. Make sure you pick up the reg adjuster tool too if you plan to adjust the output pressure.

Ninja shp regs will go higher. I have phased them out of my personal stuff. The quality and customer support from powerhouse i feel is superior, the product aswell.

If your trying to get your mags to rt, you will find that recharge rate as well as output pressure matter.

The Ninja standard regulator comes preset to 800 psi: https://www.ninjapaintball.com/regulators However, right out of the box, mine was only putting out 700 with the shim combination that they say should be 800, which was an issue with my blowback guns. I purchased a rebuild kit to get some extra shims and added one to get my output up to 800.

Courtney at Powerhouse got back to me first thing yesterday morning and said they would pre-set two TKO's to 850 and could have them out that day with payment , so I rolled with it. looking forward to getting these old mags back out where they belong.

I did follow up and ask why they cap the TKO at 650 when they are capable of 850 and what they do to it to get it there.

thanks BW for the advice and contact

          No problem.
From what i understand they actually use different parts to achieve the higher pressure. I spoke with Jeff at one point about it, but that was awhile ago and i have since forgotten.

Courtney just got back - they use a longer spring. which begs the question why not just use them standard for more range of adjustment but I guess its just not required for the majority of guns these days.
